Copend gathers real-time prices of groceries of all the big supermarkets, drugstores and household stores in The Netherlands. It does this through an open online database. This ensures that customers receive up to date prices for the products they seek. Secondly Copend added an algorithm to match similar products. This enables the app to suggest similar alternative products to the product on the grocery list.
Copend’s goal is to provide customers with a completely free service that helps find the cheapest prices for their grocery products or suggest alternative products at the supermarkets, drugstores, and household stores around them. We want to put the customers back in control of the money they spend on groceries.
